Pumpkin Bun / Pao / Pau - Bakpao Labu Kuning

Yes I make a pumpkin bun.
I just follow my feeling, i add this and that ingredients and tralaaaaaaaaa ...turn out it'soft and fluffy.

Here is my recipe:
ingredient:
125 gr mashed steam pumpkin
100ml fresh milk (if you steam pumpkin without cover then it will contain more water, hence please reduce the fresh milk to 40ml)
260gr high protein flour (or bread flour)
0.5 tsp baking powder
50gr sugar (I use fine caster sugar)
25gr butter
1/8 tsp salt
6gr yeast

method:
1. steam pumpkin until soft. cool it down and mashed it with spoon. (I use normal spoon for eating as I don't have masher)
2. mix all the dry ingredient with your standing mixer (you can also use hand kneading)
3. add in pumpkin.
4. slowly add your fresh milk until well mix. Note that the dough is a bit sticky.
5. rub your palm with olive oil (you can use any oil) and take the dough and shape it like a ball. Let it rest for 1 hour until the size almost double. Note: I covered with food cloth.
6. After one hour, steam the bun for 20 mins.
voila..... this is the result

My kids love it. Hope you like it too.

Note: if you change the pumpkin with sweet potato, then change the fresh milk to 140ml.
